Win a free study abroad semester in Phuket plus a compensation of a flight ticket!

Have you ever dreamed of studying abroad on a paradise island where most people only go on holiday? How about being able to do it for free, with a compensation of a flight ticket covered as well?

Take a shot at a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience and participate to win a free semester in Phuket, Thailand!

Yes, you heard right. Although Phuket is a highly popular tourist destination and known for its mesmerizingly beautiful white beaches, it’s simultaneously home to one of the top 5 universities in Thailand, the Prince of Songkla University.

The international study abroad semesters at Prince of Songkla University are supremely popular among students from all over the world. You might think it’s no wonder, since who would not want to study abroad in a paradise?

As a study abroad destination, Phuket is indeed beyond comparison. Extremely friendly people, high standards of living and excellent connections to all over Southeast Asia make it an ideal destination, especially for someone studying abroad for the first time.

But the university itself has also received overwhelmingly positive feedback both for the quality of its courses and the way it takes care of its international students. You won’t be just sitting around in the classroom, but will get to participate in many free-time activities organized by the university from homestays to Clean the Beach events and Thai cooking classes. And then there’s Colin.

What can you win?

Prince of Songkla University has generously waived the winner’s tuition fee for one semester, taking place from August 6th to December 16th, 2018 (4 ½ months).

Asia Exchange will cover the winner’s application fee and pay 400 EUR of the flight cost!

Who can participate?

  •  You are 18 to 29 years old.
  • You have a high school diploma or a similar certificate, or you study in an institution of higher education.
  • You have sufficient English skills (B2 level – you’re not required to take an official language test, however).
  • You have a valid passport. Please note that your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after arriving in Thailand. The program starts on August 6th.

How can you win this superb prize?

To win, like our post on Facebook or Instagram and tell us why you would like to study in Phuket. If you want, you can tag your friends so that they can participate as well. The competition ends at midnight on Sunday 22nd of April, 2018 (GMT +2), and we’ll announce the lucky winner by Wednesday 25th of April.

Rules of the competition

Asia Exchange pays the winner’s flight costs up to 400 EUR. The winner can choose whether they spend this amount on return flights or a one-way ticket only. We’ll refund the winner’s flight ticket once the semester has started and the winner has arrived in Phuket.

The winner commits to studying at Prince of Songkla University. This means completing at least 4 courses during the semester and participating in at least 80 % of lectures, workshops, site visits and other obligatory class activities.

The winner agrees to fill out the application form and provide the required documents (transcript of records in English; passport copy) by April 30th, 2018.

The winner agrees to sign a contract regarding these rules and email it back to Asia Exchange by April 30th, 2018.
