For whom is the MBA program intended?
Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is an internationally recognized Master’s degree that is often considered the entry ticket to a successful management career. IMBA degree course outline
IMBA degree at Siam University consists of:
- 9 core courses (obligatory for all the IMBA students)
- 4 elective courses
- 1 business project (thesis / independent study)
Nine core courses are obligatory for all degree students. Students can select up to 5 courses per semester.

Specializations and elective courses
Siam University offers 8 areas of specialization (Groups):

Students need to choose four courses from one group. The course schedule for elective courses is built according to students’ wishes.
Exchange students participating in one or two semesters can freely select from courses on offer.

Siam University in Bangkok, Thailand
Siam University is one of Thailand’s oldest, largest and most cosmopolitan universities. The university was founded in 1965 and it is Thailand’s fifth largest private university.
Siam University is a popular location among international students and it has several exchange agreements with universities around the world. The university has a student body of about 15,000 students studying in ten different faculties.
Cost of the MBA program
Students accomplishing the whole MBA degree
Siam University’s IMBA costs approximately 5500 USD (5000 EUR, 2/2016), depending on your course choices. The tuition for the first two semesters is 1640 EUR (European students) or 1830 USD (non-European students) per semester. When choosing to do the whole IMBA degree, the tuition fees for the first two semesters will be paid to Asia Exchange all at once and the remaining semester(s) directly to the university. Following this procedure it is possible to get a 120 USD (100 EUR) discount on the total tuition fee.
The cost of the Siam University’s MBA program is very reasonable compared to many other MBA degrees in the world. For example, in Nordic universities an MBA degree costs approximately 20 000 EUR or more.
Students participating for one to two semesters
If you wish to study only one or two semesters in the IMBA program as an exchange student (i.e. not accomplish the whole MBA degree), the tuition fee per semester is 1640 EUR. The application fee is 75 EUR.
For non-European exchange students, the price of an individual exchange semester is 2880 USD. The registration fee is 97 USD.
If you take part in two semesters, you will get a discount of 100 EUR from the second semester. The tuition fee will be paid directly to Asia Exchange. Asia Exchange will send the students the invoice for the tuition fee at least 45 days prior to the start of the study program.

Unlike other free movers, non-native English speakers going abroad via Asia Exchange are not required to take a TOEFL English language proficiency test which costs approximately 185 USD.
