Fees

The program fees are only 1,400 € or $ 1,800 (1/2012) on average.  Fees are typically cheaper than when organizing the study abroad semester on your own.

At all destinations the fees cover

• study place in an amazing study abroad destination
• guaranteed placement within a week of sending in the application
• tuition fee of the host university and transferring the money to the university
• application fees
• AE's guidance and services before, during and after the program
• an official acceptance letter and mailing services
• Asia Exchange Guide that includes a lot of useful information
• orientation at the destination
• AE's student card and student discounts

On top of that at some of the destinations the fees include

• Ice Breaking Welcome Party
• books and course materials
• visits to local and international companies
• AE's contact person at the destination

If the course books aren't included in the fees, they will cost around 20 euros. If you want more information on the fees, please contact us.

Our philosophy is to help as many students as possible to have an unforgettable study abroad semester in Asia. We try to do this in a way that it’s still affordable and their financial situation doesn’t prevent them from their taking part in the programs. Many other study abroad companies charge much higher fees than Asia Exchange. Also study abroad programs in other continents than Asia are normally much more expensive.

On top of that costs of living in Asia are very affordable. Even with a student budget you can enjoy luxury lifestyle. For example students pay around 200-300 € per person per month for a luxury apartment with its own pool. This wouldn’t be possible in other parts of the world.
