To whom is the program intended for? [back to top]
Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is an internationally recognized Master's degree that is often considered the entry ticket to a successful management career. The MBA is essentially a general qualification designed to widen the horizons of business professionals. It takes into account all the major functions and practices of a business. An MBA is a postgraduate degree.
Students of MBA programs study the theory and application of business and management principles. The studies equip students with knowledge that can be applied to a variety of real world business situations.
Why Get an MBA Degree?
The main reason to attend an MBA program is to increase your salary potential and advance your career. Graduates who hold an MBA degree are usually eligible for jobs that would not be offered to those with a Bachelor's degree. An MBA degree is almost a necessity in today's job markets in many countries.
In addition to an education in general management, MBA programs have various areas of expertise students can utilize to further develop their personal resume. An MBA degree is relevant to all industries and sectors and is valuable regardless of the career chosen after graduation. The MBA curriculum at Siam University is approved by the Ministry of Education in Thailand and revised regularly to reflect the changing global environment.
