Internship in Indonesia
Being of a social-cultural nature, the internships do not come with salary in a legal meaning of this word. Yet, all hosting organizations offer living allowance, enough to cover all regular daily expenses. Mostly accommodation is offered free of charge, too.
Organizing an internship through Internship Indonesia costs around 500 € including the application process, searching for a suitable placement that meets your individual interests and skills, Internship Indonesia's services, a local support person and most of the time accommodation. When you apply for the internship, please note down that you heard about Internship Indonesia from AE.

Finding an internship on your own
Finding an internship independently abroad takes effort from the student and can be tricky sometimes. Especially in Asia, in order to find placement and get selected, you would have to visit your destination during the application process. That's why a lot of the students look for an internship while studying abroad at their favorite destination. While in the destination you have the chance to build up a contact network and get to know interesting organizations. When looking for placement on your own, be active and contact several different organizations. Make sure to look into different resources for information on work permits, visas, accommodation and scholarships.
